A signal is sent from a control centre on Earth to the lander. The lander has sensors so that it can detect when it has landed. It will also be able to sense things such as temperature and air pressure.
In school we are sending a signal from the ipad to a Sphero using Bluetooth.
When i’m playing on my ds the ds always freezes when i’m half way through in a game so I have to turn it off and then turn it back on. This is frustrating.
The cause of Minecraft crashing could be that your computer cannot handle the 3D graphics. Or it could be that you have a virus.
A virus is something you shouldn’t be on your computer that can cause problems and slow it down. You can use free tools such as Malwarebytes to remove the virus if you think you have one.
I have dual booted my computer with Ubuntu, a user-friendly Linux operating system. So if I accidently got a virus on my Windows OS, I could just choose to use Linux until I managed to get rid of the virus

I’d like to ‘push’ collaboration on line throughout school. What do people use in school to ensure children are collaborating online effectively and safely?
Purple Mash has 2Write where children can work on the same document. Each child’s work is highlighted in a different colour so it’s great for showing children that whatever they put online can be traced back. Great for writing a collaborative story. The teacher can put the template of the story up and the children can write different chapters. Also good for a quick literacy warm up or creating a word wall. There is also 2Connect which is a mind mapping tool that can be used collaboratively for children to add their own ideas. Great for planning a story or DT project.

Piratepad- online collaborative word docs that allow real time multiple user edits
Cosketch- online paint with real time collaboration to create art work.
Padlet- online sticky notes to share ideas
Primaryblogger – online WordPress blogs for kids
When I get lots of pop-ups on my computer when trying to use it and is not letting me delete them.
just wait on some and they will disappear
The computer doesn’t always work; so you can press ctrl alt delete and press task manager and you are then in control of your computer.

Occasionally it will freeze on me or apps will close themselves. It can be irritating.
Good advice Elena, it is really important to have your devices backed up.
Games take too long to load and they don’t have any instuctions and you can’t then play them.

My wifi doesn’t always connect to my computer which means I have to reload my computer. It is very frustrating! It happens all the time!
That can be caused by weak signals, I know because it happens to me too.
sometimes i just dont turn them on!!!
A good solution is to get a WIFI extender.

I like this J2e website because it makes it possible to do lots of things. It lets you upload pictures and turn them into puzzles.

You can sometimes face viruses while using computers (not so much on Linux or Mac though)
